New Team. The Cleveland Blazers will be taking the ice this season in the place of the recently bankrupt Nashville Predators. But instead of resigning all of the original NHL roster, the new owner has decided to sign through the draft, through prospects, and through europe.

New NHL City. Cleveland Ohio's closest attempt to full professional hockey was the Cleveland Crusaders of the World Hockey Association (WHA), just recently the Cleveland Barons and now the Lake Erie Monsters (both of the AHL). This city is eager for a true NHL hockey franchise.

New Arena. Instead of sharing the Quicken Loans Arena with the NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers, the Blazers built the EA Sports Arena, seating 21,078 people, the EA Sports Arena is state of the art.

September 5th.

Today is the first day that all of us finally meet. Today is when the Dynasty building begins.

And the media extravaganza begins.

Cleveland Ohio (AP) - Today is the day that the newest of NHL teams starts there training camp. With all new faces, the former Nashville Predators, if you can call them that, are spending their first day at the newly built EA Sports Arena.

"Yeah, I'm very happy to be here in Cleveland. This new team I think is ready to take this NHL thing to the next level, and to show the world that a group of kids can join together and beat men." Kyle Anderson states.

"This association is exactly what the new NHL needs, a young, fast, team that is going to put that puck in the net, with my help of course, and the solid back end." says the Predators/Blazers 1st round draft pick Jason Skyland.

"Our team here has the building blocks nessesary to compete in the NHL." Coach Pierre McGuire.
