Hey, put down killer instinct. I really respect your opinion. Please play some more madden, I'd like to hear your input as well.

I will try to get some madden time in tonight and tomorrow. Only bad thing is, I have only been playing online with Jago on Killer Instinct. Today I buy the rest of the characters

Re: Fear the D - Defense is back in Madden

In one of my recent games, my CB was playing a flat and when the ball snapped he backpeddled and covered the streak then he POINTED to my other CB to take the WR like he was passing him off and then SPRINTED down and jumped the drag route and snatched it for a pick six!

It was the most beautiful defensive play I've ever seen in any Madden game.

How's you're running totals?

Who are you playing?
CPU Redskins, Chargers, Chiefs, broncos most recently. 7 min quarters 20 sec accl clock. Averaging 300+ passing and 150+ team rushing yards. Key seems to be get an early 2 score lead and force the CPU to be one dimensional, force a bunch of 3 and outs, and run a smart offense. Try to read the CPU defense and pretend you're Peyton Manning on every play lol.

Ps4. Also, limit costly mistakes... No shame in throwing the ball away if no one is open. Know your "hots". Etc we all know this...

I really don't like the way the Franchise stuff was developed, especially the XP stuff and I'm a franchise mode only person. I really want an in depth, realistic franchise mode. But I'm taking a chance on the gameplay AI improvements on NG being what you're stat lines are saying and even with the franchise mode not being how I want it, I've actually changed my mind about getting NG. Again, thx for your time, you've helped me a great deal. If the CPU AI, especially on defense is what you say and have shown, I can live with the current franchise mode.

If I can find a PS4 over the weekend, I'll be picking up Madden 25 NG.
You're Welcome.....

Wanted to add the following info: The CPU v CPU game averaged 2.28 plays per minute over 60 minutes of play, with a clock run off to 10 seconds....

I just played a game with 8 min. quarters versus the CPU and had the clock run off to 12 seconds, on all-pro and the final play count was 72 plays total, or 2.25 plays a minute....

So, there appears to be a consistent of plays regardless of game time....Not sure if this info is helpful, but figured it couldn't hurt to toss it out..

300 yards passing and 150 yards rushing per game is different then scoring 70 with Oakland, and you're probably not even getting a full NFL game in.

Try playing Oakland against KC or Seattle (updated rosters).

I think you and I are of very similar mind when it comes to franchise and gameplay importance.

I would be very interested to hear your impressions if you do indeed go ahead with the purchase.
