The difficult part of making a game based off of something real, like sports games, is the user has something to always compare it to, and really it is unfair, to a degree, to expect a programmer and computer to recreate perceived reality to perfection, and then get it to run perfectly on a console..

Programmers who make fantasy games have it so much easier - I have never been playing Borderlands 2 and stated how a Spiderant or Skag was unacceptable because they didn't look exactly like their real life counter part..

I used to say the same thing, but after so many years of seeing the same thing I initially thought play out in the coming months, I can't blame anyone for feeling that way.

It is early though, and not much has been released, but I can't knock people for feeling a certain way.

Personally I'm still interested in seeing what else they have to offer this year. The GCers have been talking this game up so, I'm interested.

Why are people in a rush to pass judgment though? We have pretty much no information on this game. Shoot, this article barely gives us any info on the lighting at all.

It just comes off as another opportunity for people to bash the game before even seeing what it looks like.

As are we all, but apparently we're not getting any news with meat on the bone for three weeks, when E3 starts. Then we'll have to wade through the 'no cameras' at the event 'thing' until EA finally allows something to be broadcast/shown. If they improve lighting, that's great, it appears they've made a bigger effort on faces, but if they still have completely missing historic or incorrect uniforms, bummer. I will sacrifice my own biases if all they do is work on gameplay, gameplay, and gameplay, and anything elso on the field (unis being a part of that ).

Let you guys tell it the game hasnt improved in any significant way in the last two decades.

Has it improved yes, significantly when you take into consideration the 25 years worth of development it has had, a resounding No!
