does the game actually have each players birthday programmed in or are players ages increased at the same time each offseason?

I love this. No more stacking your roster. Should really separate average from elite players with elites being few and far in between. Been doing a lot of testing on the xp sliders and this makes a lot of sense on the data I've been getting. Awesome.

Overall I like this. I do wish there were some variety (some guys peaking before 26, a very few after) but overall that's a pretty good system given the constraints of the XP system.

I agree with you 100%. Even with a breakdown as simple as something like the following for the start of age related regression:

25 years old - 10%
26 - 60%
27 - 17%
28 - 10%
29 - 3%

pretty much as soon as offseason hits.

from what I recall it actually does it when your teams offseason hits. So if you miss the playoffs it will age every one of your players one year as soon as you go past week 17. If you lose in the conference championship game then the next week your players will all age one year
