CPU vs CPU mode on Madden 18: Thoughts, Settings, and Results?

What are your thoughts/experiences so far? I thought I'd create a thread for SIM gamers like myself who enjoy managing the team off the field and watching the product on the field.

My settings:
-Simulation mode (obviously)
-All-Pro Mode
-Normal speed
-15 minute quarters
-No accelerated clock (to get as much playing time as possible)
-Default sliders and other settings
Simulation is run by going to supersim and selecting sim to the end with slow speed

Some things I've noticed:
I've only played one game so far so this may change but I wanted to make notes of what I've seen.

-The running game feels overpowered.
-All RB's averaged more than 4 yards a carry in my first game (year 2 preseason week 1: CLE vs PHI, Cleveland rebuild franchise). Midway through the 3rd quarter, the total has been 209 yards on 38 carries or 5.5 yds avg.
-Powerbacks are outperforming speed backs. Legarrette Blount has had a monster game, 13 for 76 (5.8 avg) with a whopping 41 yards after contact. Jamaal Charles (who I edited to have 96 spd, 95 agi, 97 acc, 95 elu, and 99 BCV) went 7 for 41 (4.1) with only 10 yards after contact.

-The QB holds onto the ball too long, leading to more sacks. There have been 12.5 sacks in what translates to about 3 quarters of real playtime. That's WAY too many.

I'm going to work on some sliders, will update this post. In regards to the sliders, "RB ability" is gone. Was that gone from 17 as well?

Yea I hear ya man. This is going to be an issue for us coach mode players as well. Last year, I would call the plays and let the players play everything out. There were times when the QB would run but most often he would sit there and take sacks.

I'm just hoping the slider guys can work this out along with QB Editing Traits to make it more enjoyable for those that either CPU v CPU or Coach Mode.

Also the coaching adjustments don't stick once you go to supersim.
