Madden NFL 22 Impressions Thread (PS5 / Xbox Series X|S)

Had time to play one game with the Panthers vs Jags. Really happy with the next gen movement and the momentum system. At one point I flushed Lawrence from the pocket, he ran to his left, and then threw the ball away as I closed in on him, so that was amazing to see after dealing with the robo-QB issue of the past couple of years. Only complaint currently is that the rookies on the Panthers are missing their pictures in the roster menu; didn’t check if that was an issue for every team. Has anyone heard if that’s getting fixed?

As a chargers fan I’m ecstatic that they properly have it organized as LAC in many screens instead of simply replacing SD in the menus (mostly playbooks). It bugged the hell out of me

What is the default setting for performance or quality, I have an older Sony Bravia tv, was also wondering which setting would be better for that

That's really not a good thing IMO

It's also not good that weather still doesn't effect the game.

Seems like the NG system's should be powerful enough to capture weather effects

As much as we all love Madden there's still just so much left that EA has to do.

I still enjoy the game a few months out of the year but I'm simply not going to turn blind eye and praise everything they do for the marginal additions

Yeah after playing MS Flight Simulator this game feels extremely outdated.

Only played one game on Cowboys vs Broncos. I was the cowboys and broncos were at home. I controlled the game for 3 qtrs momentum wise but the score was still just 26 to 13. Dak threw a pick six in the beginning of the 4th and it was over from there Denver got the momentum all my offensive players were tired the rest of the game Dak threw another 2 picks before the game was over and I ended up losing by a touchdown. It didn't feel too gimmicky as I thought it would because I was still able to get stops on defense but getting that momentum back in the 4th on the road was a tall task and my cowboys was not ready for it.

i got worst bug/glitches on score about Cowboys vs Bucs in week 1 on ps5

score is Cowboys 39, Bucs 0 but Tom Brady scored 5 passing TD in player stats because i lost to Bucs

I didn't know this game was going to have a graphics option. Does performance aim for 120fps?
