I've been saying this has been a problem for years since next-gen. It was pretty good on the PS2 but it's never been right on the next-gen EA football games.

Re: Madden NFL 10: Updated Running Animation

I definately prefer the adjusted run style...It has a more realistic look to it as opposed to the upright look of the 09 style.

The only minor criticism I have is in years to come I would like to see "signature" running styles for the skill positions and for RB's in traffick they need to be able to skip and slide a bit more...Maybe the skip and slide/shuffle is already in and we have not seen it.

OverallI'm giving you guys a BIG Thumbs up on responding to the changes people are asking for.

You know what, the 09 running animation doesn't look that bad from the front(its from the side that it is terrible). If they lower the knees and make the legs churn faster they could possibly use it for the sprinting animation.

in this old gen video the RB sprinting is almost like the new video it was great .this is way back in 01, and watch the foot plant at the end . next-gen is almost there. also watch the back started out low then came up high as he got faster .

You really felt the weight of the players in the last gen game.. it was great. Those hits looked awesome. Not so sold on that running style either though.

He is NOT hunched over..Its called forward body lean...Thats what happens when you run and want to create forward momentum...

I agree, i've been saying for years that the players run much too upright.
