I say keep info like this coming. It would be nice to see a handful of games agaisnt the CPU's stats and see how everything compares.

A few games really isn't enough to say too much.

But I did enjoy reading it especially as a Bears fan

Donny Thxs for sharing.

Couple of questions for you.

Did you do this same thing last season with 09, and how was it different from 09 to 10 funfactor wise?

I would also like to know how did pro-tak work out in the game? Some of the concerns with pro-tak was if every tackle was going to involve a pile up. How did it play out?

Thanks in advance for answering.

How will we be able to understand a QB's strengths weaknesses with regards to short / medium / long passes? Is there a chart breakdown with regards to their effectiveness, or will we need to fire up the QB cone view to get a feel for the QB's ability?

The problem could technically be magnified by the new ratings. QBs in general are going to be more accurate on short passes, so if the same technical issue is present in 10 combined with increased short passer ratings, the percents might even be higher.

The problem was the CPU never threw deep and never missed a WR. Since the coverage by DBs was sooooooo terrible, this led to really high percentages for QBs across the board.

While I think adding the new ratings is good, I know EA better than to think that adding new ratings solves the actual problem.

Do I think one game is cause for concern and to say the sky is falling? Nope, but it is at least something to keep an eye on.
I just don't think it's fair to compare 1 game and call it gospel. I would think if T Jackson was played next, his completion % wouldn't be better than 55%. I just feel when you shooting for the league avg of 60-63%, you need to play a lot of games with a lot of different QB's that very in %'s.

I've played 09 a lot and I had the CPU go deep on me in games.

Also, I'll take the word of the developers(one quoted me in this thread) and the report back from the CD folks over even my own personal thoughts.

Tyrant, as far as your last question, Ian stated just recently that not every tackle is a pile on tackle. Even LBz, who attended CD, mentioned their are enough different tackles.
