gameplay - anything like stats, sideline toe-drag catches?? better jump ball animations? more effective sliders? the ability to throw the ball at a receiver's feet or out of bounds? why is every incomplete pass a drop, pick, or pass defended?

Gameplay, specifically:

What's being done to improve locomotion/momentum?

What's being done to improve OL/DL interaction?

Nothing gameplay-wise will have more of an impact on the game than those two things.

How about no more mo-cap, canned animation, whatever you wanna call it for tackling.
I would like both, as anyone that knows what they both bring to games would. My point was gameplay was the number request for the blog, per Ian's twitter.

Would be nice----real nice------if the devs took a que from MLB The Show 10's franchise mode previews. They're gonna have everything from waivers and create injuries to e-mails about prospects.

If M11 can have this deep of a franchise, coupled with improved gameplay (if rumors about 2k5 guys helping out are true), this could be the GOTY.

Gameplay, gameplay, gameplay. Until this becomes a game one can play (and enjoy) for more than a few weeks, adding epic presentation and other stuff is like sprinkling diamonds on dog poo.
