Isn't that what it is? I thought I read that in the offseason, the engine runs a number of checks and tags necessary players with necessary roles?

You don't have to pop into the roles screen -- you have the option of just checking the stats .

Interested to hear more how these team roles work year to year. Like when does a Franchise QB (over 30yrs old) become a mentor? Does every QB turn into a mentor? Thinking Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers here.......
