Say like you can play the "games of the day" or do like games that would be on ESPN Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday night baseball, MLB Network's weekly games(forget what nights they do) and then Fox Saturday baseball.
Yeah that could be fun but I really love managing my own team and playing as one team, but I just always seem to get burnt out from that team if it makes sense...

I might just start one right now and tell myself that no matter what I can't do another. If I get far enough into the season I shouldn't want to switch due to all the time I've put into it. Thinking maybe Friars, Cards, or Rockies ( Wish their black alt was correct :/ ).

You could also do one American League team and one National League team. That way you get to visit every stadium in the game.

That's a pretty damn good idea. Might do it myself.

Re: 2013 Franchise/Season Progress Thread

So I played a quick exhibition game as the Cards and Busch stadium looks really nice and in the NL central I'll get to play at Wrigley and PNC so I went with them. Fantasy draft like always and my core is Bumgarner, Josh Hamilton, Adam Jones and Ian Kennedy. Hopefully I can stick with it!

Anyone know if cold weather early in franchise has an effect on power? I've crushed some balls in fairly cold games that would normally go out in an exhibition game that just die at the track. Have seen it happen to the cpu a bunch too.

Thats a good core to go with.

As the Cardinals you'll play in Oakland, Houston, Kansas City, and Los Angeles(Angels) for interleague play.

Re: 2013 Franchise/Season Progress Thread

Alright, so I started an Astros franchise. I decided to simulate the first 2 seasons and start playing the 3rd one. I've made some moves, improved quite a bit in the second season (won 53 games in season 1, and 74 in season 2). Here is my lineup to kick off the 3rd season:

1. CF George Springer - 77 overall
2. 2B Jose Altuve - 94
3. LF J.D. Martinez - 78
4. DH Chris Carter - 80 (hit 42 HRs in season 2)
5. 1B Jonathan Singleton - 71
6. SS J.J. Hardy - 81 (signed during season 2 offseason)
7. RF Domonic Brown - 79 (traded for in season 1)
8. 3B Jimmy Paredes - 71
9. C Carlos Perez - 67

Bench:
2B Delino DeShields Jr. - 78 overall
C Max Stassi - 69
CF Brandon Barnes - 73
SS Jace Peterson - 73 (rule 5 draft in season 2 offseason)

Pitching Rotation:
Jon Lester - 91 overall (signed in season 1 offseason)
Jordan Lyles - 84
Brad Peacock - 83
Jair Jurrjens - 81 (rule 5 draft in season 1 offseason)
Philip Humber- 81

Bullpen:
Jarred Cosart - 80 overall
Hector Ambriz - 71
Adam Ottavino - 77
Rhiner Cruz - 67
Kenley Jansen - 93 (acquired via trade in season 2)
Xavier Cedeno - 70
CP - Heath Hembree - 84 (signed during season 1 offseason)

I'm about to play the opening day game of the season against the Angels. I'm very excited to finally be able to play some games with this team.
