Re: 93 Nets

If this is in fact true it is very promising. As far as we know 2K may have been working on drumming up some decent classics for awhile now. I mean. Prior to 2k12 they were able to pull off 60's and 70's teams. Why wouldn't they be able to now? Here's hoping they break into the 80's as well. Maybe an 80's Mavs or Nuggets team?

True. However, the golden age is considered the 80s and the early 90s. We can't ignore that the late 80s-90s arguably is more influential in terms of todays players, culture, world wide appeal, etc....

The GOAT's lore was made in the 90s(Yeah he was great before but he didn't have hardware). We saw the Dream Team in the 90s. International players actually started to become a thing in the 90s. The 90s also probably produced more iconic figures imo.

I'm not mad if someone wants to refer to the 90s as the golden age at all.

Honestly wasn't trying to start a debate, but imo golden era is right now.

WE NEED the 1987-1988 Mavericks. I feel good about us getting them too with Ro, Mark, Perkins, Harper, Wennington, and Detlef all being in the game already.

I was being a little sarcastic. I think the other guy was refuting the 90's as Golden Era. IMO the Golden Era starts with Magic/Bird and ended with the end of MJ (prior to Wizards). The peak being that 87-92 period.

Re: 93 Nets

To me the golden era of the nba is from the 1980 to 1994. After that from 1995 to 2004-05 is the ruthless aggression.
