What you will need is :

360 compatible usb drive
(a sandisk microcruzer is compatible, you can get 1 @ walmart)

Xtaf Xplorer available here :

http://halo.gruntmods.com/Files/Xtaf_Release_Gui_.rar

(if you can't open it then search and download winrar)

xploder resigner available here :

http://www.maxconsole.net/showthread...er-Xploder.com

An updated roster file downloaded from the internet.
Here's the latest one from this topic:

http://www.operationsports.com/forum...nal-roster.zip

(BTW...technically Allen Iverson is still a 76er, he's just on leave...for now...
& personally, I wouldn't have dropped Alonzo Mourning, Dikembe Mutumbo,
& some of the other retired guys to a 50 rating just to keep them from getting
signed by CPU teams in franchise mode. You can assign them to the nba2k team
in exchange for their players, & then just drop their ratings, since they're not real
players anyway. Then you can have a team for up to 15 retired players. It looks like
some1 started doing that & then stopped. I noticed C-Webb was on that team.)

************************************************** ************

00 - Find & download updated roster file from internet. Without one there's no point in going through the rest of this.

01 - Format your usb stick on the 360.

02 - Copy your save game folder, & 360 profile to the usb stick (It's may not be necessary 2 copy your 360 profile over, but I do it anyway.)

03 - Take usb stick to the PC. Open XTAFGUI program. Make sure the usb stick is connected as if there are no 360 usb drives present, the program will give an error.

04 -Extract the files to folders on your PC by right clicking the individual files in the left side window and choosing extract once you have expanded the files tree on the right hand side.

05 - Make backup copies of files extracted as you will want to keep a copy of your 360 profile in case something goes wrong.

06 - Once backup copies are made, use exploder resigner to open your extracted 360 profile file. This will load info that you will need to resign save files (rosters) from other users.

07 - Extract the updated roster file you downloaded to desktop (or wherever)

08 - Run the xploder resigner program.

09 - Load your console ID's by loading your profile (extracted to your PC from usb drive)

11 - Open downloaded roster file in xploder

12 - Resign file, & close xploder.

13- Use XTAFGUI program to open files on usb drive. Go to game save folder on usb drive, right click in the right window and choose inject resigned roster file with xploder resigner.

15 - Test on Xbox 360

To learn how 2 configure your USB for the Xbox 360 watch this video:
http://nxeassets.xbox.com/shaxam/020...te_f_ix_v1.WMV
(If it doesn't play through your web browser, open it through windows media player.
Be sure to choose CUSTOMIZE & leave space for your PC to store files on your USB.)

Step 2 is self-explanatory. You copy the file you want to change
over to your USB. Find it on your hard drive, memory unit,
wherever it is, and copy/move it to your USB. In this case,
you want to copy the NBA2k8 roster save. If you don't have 1,
start the game and save one.

Some people are noting a {smartassembly} mistake in v30
of the xtaf_gui program. If you run into that error message
change your computers date to May 10th, open the program
& let it update itself. Then you can change your date back
& a new v31 copy will be in the same directory as the old
v30 xtaf_gui.

Thank you, but I can't get step 03 to work. When I transfer USB from Xbox to PC and I open the file folders, it says the folder is empty. But the stick shows that is is full and thus has data on it. I just can't access it..not sure what I'm doing wrong???

Did you pick the customize option that let you pick how much of the
usb drive you use for Xbox memory? If not, reconfigure it. Because
your computer will not let you access the folder it if it's all being used for Xbox memory...

And again, you have to have a NBA2k8 roster save already saved on the usb from your Xbox 360.
-Open xtaf gui
-From the file menu select open manually
-Find your usb device there & select the Xbox360 folder inside it.
-From the explorer window on the left, open root, open content, find your file somewhere in there.

Ok...I think I did everything correct til I got to the inject part. There is an option to inject but it doesn't say inject resigned roster with xploder. when I select inject, it goes to the open screen where you select a file. Almost there...appreciate your help.

Is this roster only for 2k8 and not 2k10?

Yes... It is a completely updated file that has all current rosters for the 2009-2010 NBA season but on NBA 2K8's video game. Missing players were created, updated rotations and a number of attribute ratings updates to reflect (as best as possible) current ratings...

This file canNOT be used with NBA 2K10...

Re: NBA 2k8 - 2010 UPDATED Rosters - mkharsh33 - (for 360)

Sorry to drag this thread back from the grave.

I configured my SanDisk Cruzer on the XBox for 1GB (not the full drive) then opened the Xtaf Version 32 program and it said my SanDisk had no files on it. This is after copying over the files from my XBox360 hard drive to my Cruzer (Gamer Profile and Roster File). I've looked at the directions a few dozen times and I can't get it to work. And yes, it's 2K8.

Help is much appreciated.
