NBA 2K10 Patch #2 Available For 360 & PS3, Post Impressions Here

I have problems with CPU rotations. Stars not playing enough. ( see CPU rotations thread). Was this an issue pre patch?

That's going to be pretty hard to do... unless you don't play online.

I've said this so many times, but it seems like nobody cares or listens: Is it me or has the second patch completely f'ed up playing online? Except for My Player pickups (never really use) and online leagues (never used, but will). I can't ever play regular pickup games like I use to, before the second patch, and I miss it because it was my fav since last year.

Have you tried controlling the Center on defense? This has helped me out so much.

I used to use the PG usually my guy versus their star... but when pretty much just using the Center I play much better defense.. can clog the lane w/o fouling.. and make the computer take bad shots.

I set the pressure to "tight" on everyone except the Center who I manually control.

It also feels great manually getting your rebounds.

Give it a try (use the center) it will help out.

Playing on my roommate's Xbox, I don't notice any major differences in My Player, or in the quick game. I think I'm gonna DL it. After the last glitch that happened to me, I think I'm ready to suffer whatever patch #2 has to offer.

I just traded in NBA Live 10 (PS3) and picked up 2K10 again. Only things I like better in Live is the play calling and player control mechanics. As for "the realism effect", I think 2K10 has it pretty much nailed. Glitches aside, I'm enjoying the "#*@ out of it. Just my two cents.

Born, I've had no issues with patch 2. Thing is I turned off chemistry and roles for my association. Sucks but I wanted the fixes in patch 2 but not the 3pt stat glitch so it had to be done.

Thanks, Alt. I play mostly My Player, so I can't turn anything off, but I don't think it'll be a game killer. There are other things that go on that I ignore. If Shaq jacks the occasional three, it'll be no different than when he dribbles back and forth for ten seconds trying to get under the basket, haha!
