Am I the only one who sees the signature player shoes as pointless? Probably.

If Im playing in the MyPlayer mode, the last shoes i am going to wear is that of an opposing player. Maybe im taking the game too seriously lol, but if im facing Lebron or Wade, im not about to be rocking a pair of shoes with their name on it. Same goes for Melo, CP3, and Durant.

I understand that the Signature shoes are in the game for the guys themselves to wear, and thats cool. But This year, Nike added a ton of shoes (great idea), but about 1/3 of them are Lebrons signature shoes from the past. In my game those will all be useless. Same with Kobe's multiple shoes and Durant.
Some of you will point out that NBA players wear other guys shoes, and I will point out that no star player rocks another star players shoes. You won't see Blake Griffin rocking Lebrons game to game.
Even when MJ played, only his teammates would wear his shoes. After his first retirement more guys like Reggie miller started wearing his shoes.
But to me it's the ultimate mind game if i'm playing against you, and you're rocking MY signature shoes with MY name on them. Jordan had that mental advantage on a few guys like Kendall Gill when he came back in 96.
