Yeah it's tough some games for me. When I get frustrated I just let the CPU shoot my FT's and then switch the controller back right after I see the 2nd shot released at the Line.

It's not cheating because your players will still miss some shots depending on his FT RATING for the game.....

Re: Playmakers 360 Sliders Baseline/Press Cam Views

Played my last test game for the night and it was awesome. I was New York and it went right down to the buzzer. With about :11 seconds left Miami was down 74-73 they tried to get the ball into Wade's hands but covered him up with two defenders so they through the inbounds pass from half court to Jayson Williams who dribble to the baseline and took a contested jumper he missed but guess who went up strong and for the offensive board and powered it back in with a monster dunk......Shaq Daddy and the crowd errupted.....

So, I advanced the ball took a quick timeout set up a play for Marbury to come off a high screen since the ball was advanced to halfcourt out of the timeout. The clock had :05 seconds left just enough time get it take one dribble by my screener Channing Frye, Marbs raised up over Williams and hit all net with no time left. So, I'm waiting for the ref to give the signal if the shot counted......

He comes out puts his arms kinda down the shot counts I win and the CROWD starts a loud quick booing noise. Game over and it was great. Shaq kept killling my big men as Eddie Curry picked up 5 fouls and Jerom James had 4 in the game. I let my big men play on their own only coming down to double when he was ready to make his offensive move. He abused everyone I threw at him.

Fast Break Points
Knicks-14
Heat-12

D.Wade was the best Heat player in transistion and rightfully so. He is very quick and fast got about 3 dunks off of the break vs me. But when Payton came in they slowed it down much more than with Williams running PG. Overall 12 points isn't very high so it's definetly possible to control the CPU fast breaks much better.

Couldn't you lower the freethrows difficulty and take them yourself?

Yeah you can increase or lower any slider aspect that doesn't feel right. I use to play with FT Shooting at 50 and hit about 40% of my shots.

It can get easier for you if lower it to like 0-25 but we all have different skills so I can really set a FT rating in these games. Instead I just posted a fair number 75 if anyone doesn't want the hassle of missing so many FT's during a regular season game. Both the CPU shooters and Human CPU shooters miss a reasonable amount at that setting.

Re: Playmakers 360 Sliders Baseline/Press Cam Views

Just a brief update since I think that the CPU's tempo is dictated alot by the awareness of the PG's if you want you could actually just set each Teams Strategy for Fast Break to 1. If you run across a team that you feel doesn't run enough than the next time you play them then try raising it to 2 for that team.

But right now setting it at 1 seems to work pretty good and the higher awareness PG's for some reason plays a huge role in most teams tempo. I noticed this tonight because Dallas at 1 still had more chances to run then when I played Utah. Terry pushed it more than Deron Williams and Keith McLeod attempted to do for the Jazz when I played them earlier.

The Crash Board Slider would probably be the only one needed to adjust because if you set it to 1 for Detroit they will hustle back on defense but Ben Wallace won't try and crash the boards that much on offense. So, that's just some little things I noticed with the adjusted ratings.

Also, if your going to play on Super Star Level I would highly suggest using the lower gamespeed of 40 with this sliders and ratings. It's seems to tone down somewhat at 40 but once you go up higher the players start doing too many things quicker then normal.

Re: Playmakers 360 Sliders Baseline/Press Cam Views

Here's a few chnages I made on both sides for CPU and Human.

Lowered
On Ball Physical Defense-75

Helps to post up and back down defender a little easier. But not all players will be strong enough get movement so posting up is still kinda tough.

Increased
Double Team Efectiveness-75

Turnovers were kinda too low so instead of increasing the Steal or Interception Slider I just boosted up the Double team slider on both sides. Forces you to make quicker decisions with the ball in the post.
