NBA Live 360 Global Player Ratings
Rosters Updated as of 02-25-06
This will be the thread for Global Ratings on the NBA Live 360. These are the ratings I edited for most players on each team. These ratings will only effect the players 3-pt rating, Offensive Awareness, Defensive Awareness, Speed and Quickness ratings. 3-PT rating should only be edited for the CPU teams not your own team. The reason for this is because the lower the 3-PT rating is for the CPU players the less attempts that player will shoot in a game. All Ratings are OPTIONAL meaning if you disagree with a rating for any player in the 5 catagories listed below you can modify the player(s) to whatever ratings you feel is most appropriate. Since this is a project I'm doing manually some players might not be listed on each team rosters below. But I will try to edit as many players as possible. 1st #= 3-PT Shooting (This rating is optional and should only be changed for CPU players) 2nd #=Offensive Awareness 3rd #= Defensive Awareness 4th #= Speed 5th #= Quickness Atlanta PG-Tyronn Lue-65-50-85-88-90 SG-Joe Johnson-83-80-81-85-80 SF-Josh Smith-20-40-82-85-80 PF-Al Harrington-30-76-75-80-75 C-Zaza Pachulia-1-58-70-70-70 PG-Tony Delk-77-48-72-88-85 SG-Josh Childress-40-49-75-85-82 SF-Marvin Williams-35-42-70-80-80 SG-Salim Stoudamire-80-40-70-85-87 SG-Royal Ivey-21-31-70-83-78 C-John Edwards-1-30-70-70-70 C-Michael Stewart-1-21-70-70-70 Boston PG-Dan Dickau-75-45-70-83-83 SG-Wally Szczerbiak-77-78-75-79-76 SF-Paul Pierce-80-87-83-88-83 PF-Al Jefferson-1-46-72-73-70 C-Raef LaFrentz-70-56-71-72-70 SG-Tony Allen-47-46-74-87-75 SF-Gerald Green-40-49-70-85-85 PG-Delonte West-62-45-75-90-80 C-Kendrick Perkins-1-41-70-70-70 C-Michael Olowakandi-1-47-75-70-72 SF-B. Re: NBA Live 360 Global Player Ratings
PM........you stated in another thread that raising the def awareness and quickness of all players help very much in stopping the obscene amount of fastbreaks. Is there a global number you are using for all players or are you using increases on a player by player basis? Another question: Can these increases be used on slower speeds as well? I generally like to use a game speed of around 50 for the express purpose of watchings plays develop better. I'm one that thinks teams run their plays better on the slower speed

Re: NBA Live 360 Global Player Ratings
Yeah basically what I'm doing is making sure atleast every player has a defensive awr of 70 minimal. For players already above 70 I'm increasing most of them by 10 points in awareness. As for speed it's the same thing most players will be 70 and above. If a guy is already in the 90's I either increase him by 5 points or leave him as is depending on if he was the fastest player still on the roster after all the other players recieved a boost. On 50 Gamespeed it still worked pretty good. But you might have to start off at 75 or 80 as a starting point for all players speed and quickness. The Defensive Awareness ratings really provides the biggest boost in gameplay because EA has so many guy's screwed up it was pathetic. That was one reason why teams were getting so many fast breaks without any of your players being in neighborhood to even stop it. Their awareness was so low that they didn't react at all on most occasions when it came to getting back on transistion defense or locating their man in the half court game. |

Re: NBA Live 360 Global Player Ratings
I don't think it would hurt head to head play at all. Also, I checked out the gamespeed at 50 with player edits for Detroit and Denver and it played pretty good. The only thing I noticed was players that didn't have very good stamina moved slower than others as the game progressed. But to answer your question I think it does work better on 50 still because like you said it helps to see the teams run the plays better especially from Baseline camera. |
