Is this really dead? Anyone know if the most recent work on this was ever uploaded in the discord from April/May 21'? (The OPs work looked really promising with many courts done, sec, big 10 etc..) Or is this discord dead & no links for anyone any more?

I found another group making a similar mod, ... (maybe not the same things done as the OPs group. They are called March madness Legacy mod. It may not be as good as OPs work,But it's another option.)

I was able to download this one from their discord. But I have not tried installing it yet...No time, until after a few weeks during the holidays.

They’re actually the same mod. The mod is being revived in their discord.

No it’s dead. The original guys who actually knew what they were doing (BPhit and TBR21) left this project months ago and the people who took over have no idea what they’re doing.

Not trying to get into an argument here, but you’re wrong. They just restocked their team after taking a break during the off-season. BPhit and TBR were mainly focused on the mechanics while the other guys focused on the uniforms. So the visuals are still being updated, meaning that the mod is not dead.

Are you in the discord? It’s quite active.

Trust me. The current people working on the mod don’t even know where to start on the real issues with the game. They can make courts and jerseys easily, but schedules are broken and they have no idea where to start or how to fix it. There were so many under the hood issues that BPhit and TBR knew how to fix.

There are still a few OG guys there like naikznn and brentlane there from when bphit and tbr were there. I bet that bphit and tbr didn't just leave without sharing the knowledge that they had; I'd bet it's pretty tough to fix and issue like that. I don't think you're giving them a fair chance; they just revived it like a week ago or so. NCAA Basketball 10 is a very screwed up game to begin with in terms of how ratings work and such. It's a hard foundation to begin with. I still respect them for taking time to update the graphics. Since they're still working on the mod, no, it's not a dead mod.

parent22, that's very good news if they are the same mod. Just glad there is something going on with this game behind the scenes. But I will stay cautiously hopeful based on what walking cash is saying about this being dead.

I still have no time to install and check this mod out, & confirm the details in this thread are consistent with the discord mod. I just hope some courts and jerseys are a little more updated for the big 10 , sec, etc. Anything new is better than nothing, since this game is over 10+ years old, + there will probably not be another college basketball game for a very long time.
