Super Mega Baseball 2 Scheduled to Release in September - New Trailer

[Simple Mathematics]

I don't care when the release date is. This game looks incredible and the it will be a day one purchase for me. The lighting looks beautiful. The player models find a good balance between realistic and fun. The customization is going to be superb. And if it's going to be anything like SMB1, this game is going to be FUN. A lot of games these days have lost that fun factor.

I cannot wait for this to come out.

I'm surprised everyone thinks September is a bad move. I thought it would be a great move. Playoffs would be ramping up for baseball and people would get an itch to play again (obviously not MLB, but it's still baseball regardless), and people who bought The Show 17 back in March would be looking for their possible next fix until The Show 18 comes out.

I thought the big games release in November?

havent been this excited for a game in a long time.
fdoesnt matter when it comes out for me. ill play this anytime of year if its as good as the first one.
hoping for a good amount of stadiums and hopefully a beta in july would be sweet

F1- August
FIFA- September
NHL- September
NBA 2K- September
Nascar- September
NBA Live- ?? (September or October I imagine)
WWE 2K- October probably

I'm not even sure if that's all of the sports games planned for late summer/early fall release, and that's also not taking into consideration the big ones like Call of Duty coming shortly thereafter in November like you mentioned.

It probably won't release on time...so everything will work out if it comes out in November or so.

Oh, sports games. Duh. I was thinking of the AAA titles (yes, games like COD and all of the other ones that stack up at E3).

Oh man, I'm so disappointed! Ultimately I'm going to love it in September, but I have summers off -- was looking forward to this as one of my summer games!

I wonder if the later than expected release date has any impact on the likelihood of this thing hitting the Switch.
