Danny Kannell says that Kirk Cousins could be the next Drew Brees. He then went on to compare how their stats for the first three seasons of their careers are similar. Lol Drew Brees is way more athletic than Cousins, but ok....

He lost me when he started comparing current QB stats to QB stats from 2001-2002. As if overall QB stats aren't significantly better now compared to then. Average QB completion % is up like 4-5%, guys are throwing significantly fewers INTs, etc. It's just a different game now. Just a dumb comparison.

The comparison sucks but I don't know about Brees being "way more athletic" than Cousins.

Don't even know where you got that thought from.
