Let’s all be honest here, this exact move should have happened about 10 years ago. The problem was that Tebow felt he was capable of being a starting QB and refused to put his ego aside in order to prolong his NFL career. It looks like reality has finally set in since he realized the Mets were mainly using him to sell tickets in spring training

Tebow is a interesting study in measuring success.
He's made more money than probably any of us but he's done so kind of bouncing around from one thing to the next never really excelling at anything. NFL QB, TV analyst, baseball player, and now NFL TE.

I wanna know what’s the longest a player has gone between downs played in NFL history. He’ll have 8-9 years if he makes the roster, and the Jags are thin at TE so i expect him to.

I think he’ll be serviceable. Probably should’ve made the conversion 7 years ago but hey, he’s gotten to do a bit of everything and I’m sure he’ll continue to get gigs if this doesn’t pan out.

That second season with Denver was so nuts. The playoff game win was cool but they had a MNF or TNF against the Jets where he ripped off a run late and that’s the one I remember most from those days.
