I'm glad that Philly gets to see this SC celebration in Boston...maybe it will inspire them. I don't think Lavvy will let them forget it.

That intro for Boston was pretty sick.

Seguin looks good.

Well, the Flyers suck so far. The Read-Couturier-Hartnell line is doing well.

My main question is this: if Read is so highly thought of, why is he a 25-year old rookie and went through 2 other team's camps without them signing him? He looks good, just wondering.

Re: The Official 2011-12 Regular Season Talk Thread

Cherry is already in mid-season form ranting about how the game is getting soft and calling out Stu Grimson and Chris Nilan (I'm pretty sure he called him Chris Neal) for speaking out about the dangers of fighting. I know Hockey is back when Grapes goes off.

I really enjoyed the Cup celebration in Boston. It was a nice touch to bring out members of the 72 Bruins.

Because he's a smallish guy who played at Bemidji State last year. He probably barely missed those other teams and worked his way onto a roster. That's impressive in itself.

There we go Giroux.

The chemistry between him and Jagr is extremely good.

EDIT: VORACEK

Good game so far between the Flyers and Bruins. Though to be honest, even if it sucked, I would still be pumped that I am sitting here in my recliner enjoying a hockey game.
