F1/IRL/All Other Forms of motorsports Thread

I know we have more than nascar fans on these boards, so I figure this weekend would be the perfect time to get some discussion on the other series.

We got the Monaco GP and Indy 500 this Sunday any predictions?

Personally I think Helio is gonna get that Hollywood comeback ending and win his 3rd 500.

And Brawn Racing, can anyone stop them? Not this weekend, I think.

The Indy 500 is such a toss-up. So many different drivers are capable of winning it. I'm calling on Tony Kanaan to win it this year on a random guess, but I wouldn't be surprised at the very least to see Helio Castroneves win it yet again.

As for F1, Brawn Racing has been unbelievable so far this season. It seems to be a foregone conclusion that either Jenson Button or Rubens Barrichello will earn a podium finish after every race, if not both drivers. Button in particular has been awesome. And their path to winning the race at Monaco tomorrow might be easier now that teams BMW Sauber and Toyota failed to place a car in Q1 this morning.

I'm pretty excited about the Indianapolis 500 this year. Tomorrow will be a great day: The Indy 500 and the Coca-Cola 600! 1,100 miles of racing on one day = Racing Heaven!

I've been trying to get into more Indy and F1 Racing this year than in the past. I still don't like it as much as NASCAR, but it's still pretty entertaining.

And for the Indy 500, as long as Danica Patrick does not win, I will be happy!

BMW? The same BMW that's only finished in the top 6 once this season, and that finish was only because of the crazy weather?

Can't wait for tomorrow. Wake up early for F1, go back to sleep, then wake up for good and watch Indy, assuming it doesn't rain, and then the 600. Hopefully the 600 isn't as boring as the all-star race was.

Yeah, F1 is on tomorrow at 7:30 AM. I'm not sure if I'm willing to get up that early, though. I guess we'll see.

That's basically what I'm gonna do except I won't go back to sleep, I'll stay up and watch the last week of the EPL season, and in between watch the Hawks/Red Wings game
