Crews features season and playoff modes with full leaderboards and stat tracking. You earn VC for participating in these online match-ups just like you do with offline games.

- how many roster spots per crew?

Will you be able to start games with CPU teammates? This was in 2K11 Crew, but I actually would vote NO. Reason being is I play blacktop and crew to ESCAPE the CPU, and all the bs that the CPU does. I've heard "crew should have playbooks." Why? This mode was designed to be mano e mano, no cpu involvement, any plays you run is you and your teammates manually doing it.

I can understand for those who who just want to play 2vs2 with their buddy or something, but the game will have 3on3 crew for that. Get one more guy and you're good to go.

Say whatever you want about NBA 2K13 online 3on3 blacktop...but blacktop actually achieved a lot of things 2K11 Crew didn't...

- no cheaters (until like August via 2k share)
- no quitting or lagouts (or very minimal)
- full team (2K11 servers so bad I can't remember one game where full 5on5 game was completed)
- no CPU (or very minimal)

The result was a very organic mode - on an equal playing field - that revealed the true ballers from the scrubs. Couldn't rely on the CPU cheese, couldn't rely on cheese zone D, couldn't rely on money plays. You had to do it all yourself. Hope 2K14 Crew is just like that.

Have they said anything about it being 5min quarters like 2k11 or games of 21 like 2k13?
