New Captcha Requirement Really Annoying

Tried making a post, or actually just previewing a post while working on it, and each time I click "Preview Post" I get sent to a captcha screen to click on some boxes. This is incredibly annoying for a logged-in supporter of the site to have to re-authenticate over and over when making a post or even just previewing a post. I hope this new system gets scrapped or fixed, and soon. Having to authenticate like this would be so much worse than the status quo with the relatively small amount of spam that appears on the website.

In case it matters, I am using my PC and Chrome browser. This issue just started happening today as far as I know.

It's doubly annoying because we get subjected to so many invasive ads already (autoplay videos, full page ads, pages geared to jiggle around to induce mis-clicks on adverts/banners) that it can be difficult to tell if the captcha is even a legitimate thing or the work of scammers.

FWIW, I'm also on a PC and using Chrome and just tested this post to see if I would have the same issues you are experiencing and did not.

(Not discounting the experience you are having).

Only difference I can tell based on your experience versus mine is that you don't use adblock so maybe that could be the cause?

I'm not sure. When I make some posts, there is no authentication issue. To clarify, I have only had the issue when trying to preview a rather large post in my NCAA Dynasty Thread. I have been able make simple posts (no graphics or links) in the baseball and college football threads like usual.

We haven't changed any captcha settings that I'm aware of. It should only be viewable during the registration process, but we will look into it.

I can also confirm, I get the same message when using Chrome.

Haven't seen it on I.E. though.

Yep, it still goes to captcha, but only when I make a fairly long post with a bunch of links to my photosharing site and other formatting marks. When I make a regular post about how much the Cubs are sucking in the postseason, there's no captcha issues.

Here is an example of the post I was working on and the captcha would happen whenever I'd click "preview post" or "submit reply."
