About as likely as the Young Bucks unleashing 20 super kicks in one match.

One speculation is that this might be a joke. Like the McMahon-Hornswoggle one where he wasn't really McMahons son, they just did it as a joke to him. So in this case, maybe someone sets up Angle and pretending like JJ Angle is his son to see how it'd impact his life/career. Storyline wise, who more than Steph(who hasn't been seen since Angle was named GM) would love it if Angle is out of power? And who more than HHH(one of Kurts old rivals and most likely opponent if Angle returns for a match) would want Kurt out too?

Lol, that's possible. In the real world Kurt would have a paternity test done, and he wouldn't just accept that this guy is his son based on a phone conversation.

But they definitely need an out at some point, unless they plan on referring to Jordan as a 2nd generation superstar for the rest of his WWE career.

The Hornswaggle thing at least was a last minute change that basically turned into a joke. This situation must have been planned out for a while.

Another thing about this... Isn't the reason Kurt wanted to go public about it was because he was his family to hear it from him? But right before he announced it, he says his family are all supportive about all of this. So how exactly would the news getting out hurt his family? And who'd even leak it......

Everything we've brought up is putting way more thought into the storyline than WWE has.

I don't recall who this line is attributed to, but think it applies here:

"Don't work yourself into a shoot."

More and more, I feel like WWE in an effort to swerve fans like us that talk about WWE on message boards and social media, make last-second changes to storylines and match outcomes, and what we fans are left with is disappointment and confusion.

I have a hard time believing that Jason Jordan being revealed as Kurt Angle's son was always going to be the payoff for this storyline. As we've proven in a few posts, it already doesn't make sense based on the build.

I think they do that lots. Look at the betting odds on ppv matches. It's so one sided for someone because we know they won't lose the title, so WWE swerves everyone and has match end with dq,which is obviously why the last min swings happen because of those who know results

One of more notable instances of this was Christian returning. Remember when everyone said he was the one attacking Jeff. It made most sense, so WWE changed things up and made it Matt hardy instead, and Christian was relegated to pointless ecw run.

People in WWE have such big egos that they'd rather be selfish over smart.

Ah yes, the Hardy vs. Hardy feud that no one asked for or wanted to see. Christian did the best he could in ECW, but man when you look back now and realize he wasted all that time there instead of the main roster, what was the point?

Side note: why anyone would even think to wager on professional wrestling is mind-boggling.

Bigger question is why anyone would open up a betting system for wrestling. And how aren't these superstars families richer by now? Just tell your friends the ppv results and bet the max.
