and also adding back the bowl patches to uniforms would be nice.

Weren't these the same people who complained because features from the PS2/Xbox weren't included in the 360/PS3 versions?

And as far as the 60FPS for PS3 being listed as a feature, you can laugh @ EA if you want, but for those of us that only have a PS3, we are pretty excited to see it listed.

Although I must admit that no mention of formation subs is really discouraging.
Yeah!! that's what i said in my post on the pg11... I bet if they didn't say anything about this and not let ps3 users know about the 60fps ppl would be calling ea lazy and don't want to put anything in the game!!!!

So the feature reads "formation audibles" which isn't "formation subs"? Correct?

Formation audibles would be what is currently in next-gen(I'm on 360 and thats "x" on the play call screen)? So it's not really a new feature anyway for next-gen. No need to jump my *** here boys as I know most of these "features" are old-gen standard.

Honestly if 09 doesn't give big backs the ability to truck better or just be a short yardage specialist type back I guess I really don't need it.

I would like the total control over my offense with formation subs. But I can get by now with the audibles I guess.

Bottom line I WANT the Formation subs but if it isn't in then I'll be ok with audibles.

I would be happy about adding old features back, IF they added two of the ones I wanted the most. 1-AA teams, or Create-a-team so I can make my 1-AA team. Still hard for me to get over that BS. THREE YEARS AND STILL HAVEN'T BROUGHT EVERYTHING BACK.

I agree with the 1-AA teams. I know that I read somewhere in an interview with Kendall Boyd that they are still adding features and that its a possibility that FCS teams will be added.

If I can remember where I read that and in which interview, I'll post it.

I know there are a lor of people angry about 1-AA teams but IMO there are larger issues.

That's a pretty nice list, I must admit. PLEASE be a good game.

They need to fix the HORRIBLE OL/DL interecation in this game.

I could care less about the feature list, show me if they have added a realistic QB pocket in this series. After using this gameplay engine for the past 10 years, they continue to leave this out for some reason.

This is the only feature that I'm interested in seeing.
LOL I thought i was the only one. If there is no real pocket being formed I cannot buy this game. i have been playing EA football since it was on the Genesis and its the same OL\DL interaction. Its the most fundamental part of the game and they have yet to replicate it.

If I didn't care about 1-AA, then I would agree wholeheartedly with you. Unfortunately I am a HUGE FCS fan. HOWEVER you have to agree with me that getting Mascot Games back in should have NEVER been a priority over 1-AA. That is the biggest problem I have with it, ****ING Mascot Games before 1-AA.

I think you're confusing formation audibles with personnel packages.

If it's like last-gen, formation audibles are a set of 4 preset quick audibles per formation (in addition to the 5 customizable ones we've come to expect). On offense each formation will have a preset run play, short pass, long pass, and playaction pass. On defense each formation will have a cover 2, cover 2 man, cover 3 and blitz. The specific plays will vary from team to team (i.e. ND's I-formation run audible may be different than USC's).

Hopefully you'll be able to actually set those formation audibles up to your own liking instead of having to use the presets. That would be sick, and would probably give enough ground to run a true no huddle spread offense. How much fun would that be? A LOT.

08 was atrocious. One of the worst football games I ever played. Poor QB play coupled with the worst running animations I have ever seen in a football game resulted in an unplayable game.

Not for me, '06 was complete **** in my book. Only game I ever actually returned and got a refund for. Horrible, horrible, horrible game. Of course, I still have fun playing '08, so I'm probably nuts.
