Lost in the NCAA Football 11 madness, going on at OS lately. I figured we should spotlight this post from fincane.

Gamestop has leaked out a few features on NCAA Football 11.

  • An All-New Locomotion System — Your gameday experience is taken to a new level with all-new authentic running mechanics. From an explosive first step and the ability to stop momentum on a dime, to rebalancing yourself after an over-pursuit, feel what it’s like to cover the field and play at the most elite level in college football.
  • Play the Way the Schools Do — Run the “no-huddle” spread, triple option, wishbone, wild hog, or pistol offenses the same way as your favorite schools. Dictate the tempo of the game when running the spread as you look to the sideline for the plays, or break the huddle and study the defense at the line of scrimmage when operating a traditional, pro-style offense. The game is in your hands.
  • All-New ESPN Broadcast Package Integration — From kickoff to the game’s final play, feel like you’re a part of the ESPN Game of the Week! ESPN broadcasters Kirk Herbstreit and Brad Nessler offer insights and commentary while breaking down your game, and reporter Erin Andrews provides injury reports and updates from the sidelines.

yea, underneath the video(just the locomotion video that is on EA's site) it has:

Good catch, just added it. Thanks.

" double-team blocking" - THAT'S what caught my attention the most...and the fact that they don't mention the new level of control with dual sticks. Maybe that is exclusive to Madden 11...at least until NCAA 12 comes out.

Thanks alot steve. Double team blocking is finally in now. People been asking for that for ages. Now people can be happy. Man it keeps getting better and better.

Despite the not-so-great video from a day or 2 ago, I'm still more hyped for this game than any other NCAA I've ever been.

That feature list looks great.

No I think it was mentioned in the thread for the dual stick controls that it's in NCAA as well.

BTW, did anyone notice the part about the ESPN presentation? It looks like they cut out Lee Corso.

Looks good, Locomotion and ESPN in going to be sweet.
Still nothing about Dynasty, though .
And looks like the Scooter Special is out of the game. Not so fast, my friend. They could be adding some College Gameday type show and just relegated him to that instead of booth duties.

Hmm so far alot of good news for ncaa football 11. My question with all this good news. What is Ian and crew going to do to top all of this good ncaa 11 news. The next 5 days are so is going to get very interesting.

Cool beans, if that's the case. If I were EA, I would want to add that to the bullet points.

So, team specific entrances?

# 13 mgoblue678 @ 04/22/10 01:09 AM
I'll take back of the box feature descriptions with a grain of salt. Not going to jump up and down based on back of box feature descriptions that are often times exaggerated or don't turn out as good as they sound.

And to be honest I really don't like how the last one about improved AI only references the offense, hopefully that doesn't mean the defensive AI got ignored.

How do we know that isn't just referencing a new generic entrance they gave to all teams for example?

Once again not going to jump up and down based on back of box feature descriptions that are often times exaggerated or don't turn out as good as they sound.

May for others, but for me personally they don't. I am sure they have looked really good on the past NCAA games this gen as well. Kind of like the old saying about a team looking great on paper, on the field results have to be shown as well.

It doesn't guarantee ALL team specific entrances are in. It'll probably be like it was last gen with the most recognized ones in and a generic one for all others (at least at first) which would be fine with me.

I like hearing them talk about lanes. This was one of the complaints I shared on Madden. That none of the players on offense/defensive had any idea about their lanes.

Sounds pretty good!

Damn, kinda wanted the AD mode.

Sounds good on paper, would like to see this fleshed out.
