NBA 2K11 Cover Athlete: Michael Jordan?

Could it be? ESPN is reporting Michael Jordan could possibly be the cover athlete for NBA 2K11.

this would be awesome. I think its cool when they put legends on the cover kinda how NCAA did Desmond Howard one year

Man I love that cover so much. I have it right in front of me in my office...lol I loved the little video that use to play with all the greats. Ricky Williams, Randy Moss, Ron Dayne, Tim Brown, Howard and others.

seriously? assuming the cover athlete would be playable on one of the throwback 90s teams.....that would make it the first game since what, jordan v bird that he's actually appeared as himself in?

The possibilities are endless. They could end up doing the following or more:

1. You can do drills and training with a virtual mentor MJ in My Player.
2. Relive or rewrite MJ scenarios in game to change the outlook of his career.
3. Play 1 on 1 vs MJ, or vs any other legend in a pickup game or 21 or horse, etc.
4. Play rivalry scenarios vs the Knicks, Cavs, Pistons, Lakers, or Celtics.
5. Have MJ strip Iverson and score the bucket in the infamous "Iverson crosses MJ" scenario from 96.

He was in 2k2 and 2k3 with Wiz
