Top Spin 4 Box Art and Full Roster Revealed, 3D and Move Support Confirmed For PS3

2K Sports announced today that Top Spin 4, the latest iteration of the Top Spin tennis simulation video game franchise, will feature professional tennis athletes Rafael Nadal, Serena Williams and Andre Agassi on its cover. This will mark the first time in a decade that Andre Agassi will be featured in an interactive entertainment experience. Top Spin 4 is planned for release on March 15, 2011 for the Xbox 360� video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation�3 computer entertainment system and Wii� system.

�Tennis has been in my life for as long as I can remember,� said Andre Agassi, former No. 1-ranked player in the world, winner of eight Grand Slam singles tournaments and 17 ATP Master Series tournaments. �I hope that with Top Spin 4 players can enjoy the sport as much as I have.�

In development at 2K Czech, Top Spin 4 brings the competitive action of tennis to life like never before with redesigned controls, jaw-dropping player models and enhanced TV-style presentation elements. Each of the title�s top athletes and legendary pros will be equipped with 2K Sports� Signature Style animations, including player-specific swing styles and behavioral AI, custom celebrations and outfits.

i wouldve liked to see del Potro he's ranked in the 250s now but only because of injury, also wouldve been nice to see soderling and the return of berdych and for womens they shoulve had Clijsters at least but the womens selection are good tho

however Djokovic is an awesome add overall nice rosters... DLC maybe, lol i know they lied about it all year for TS3 in the forums

Can't do much better than the top 4 men, though I still hope for the day when all of the top men get in, no exceptions. I know the contracts and such are difficult, but even going for lesser ranked guys and women to have a deeper roster would be great. Have no idea who the Canadian woman (Eugenie Bouchard) is, probably a spot that could have gone to someone more worthwhile, even an Oudin to appease the Americans.

My guess is Top Spin games cost relatively little to make.

Especially since this one doesn't look like much of an upgrade from the last game.

NHL is probably a much more costly project.

Yeah I was reading up on 2K Czech, and all the other games they've made so far (Mafia, Vietcong, Hidden and Dangerous) have been shooters. This is their first attempt at a sports game.

Should be interesting to see how TS 4 turns out considering the other Top Spin games were all developed by PAM, who was closed down by 2K shortly after the release of TS 3.

Can always hold out hope that 2K share makes it way in. That way you could download players that others create, which would be fantastic in lieu of not having the actual players on the roster.

I'd buy it if the cover was one of those where the picture changes when you tilt the packaging, because it'd be hilarious if Agassi was bald one way but had hair if you tilted the package a little.

For sure. And while we're at it, wouldn't it be nice to have the likes of Vilas, Nastase, Connors, Big Mac, Borg competing like the good old days.

I hope they do add Del Potro, when injury free, he's a top 5 in my books.
