Was hoping the ratings were spread apart.

Eli vastly overrated same for Ben. No way either of these two are better than Phillip Rivers.

Very disappointing.

These look great thanks. I do have a slight disagreement on a couple but that's ok I'll edit them myself to what I think is more realistic.....oh wait I can't do that this year.....WHAT A JOKE

Big Ben at 95? Idk about that one.

I think all the ratings are a little too high in general. I wish they would be more scaled back to put greater separation between Elite and Good players.

Wow, everyone always attacks Big Ben. He was hurt last year towards the end, but we'll finally have a good oline this year. Only one I'd change is dropping Eli to a 95 ovr.

I don't like these overalls. Everyone is too high for my taste, but whatever.

I was hoping to get a look at some real key ratings like THP, short/medium/deep throwing accuracy, awareness, speed. These don't really tell me anything.

So Super Bowl winning Eli should be dropped 2 points to 95 after having a monster year, but Big Ben is fine right there?

lol Steeler fans

Are authentic throwing motions GONE this year? Philip Rivers' throws looked pretty generic and over-arm

A little to high overall. Surprised at how high Big Ben was.

Why not just give everybody a 99 rating to make them happy?

Disappointed in these

The video wasn't up when I posted. I just finished watching it.

Are they really going to let fans get on facebook and vote on which QB should be tops in speed, throwing power, accuracy, and awareness?

Wow... that's all I have to say... wow...

edit - I'm really hoping I misunderstood that.

Big Ben also won 2 SB's!! I wouldn't say he declined since then, and Eli is proving he is clutch. TBH, I would've had Big Ben around a 94 ovr before the season and Eli around a 92 ovr. So, now they are tied for me. Talking about successes of last year, Big Ben led our team to 12-4, while Eli led his to 9-7.

I don't get how Philip Rivers is rated so highly. If I'm not mistaken, he was 3rd in interceptions last year and had an off year altogether.
I'm fine with every other rating, wished they were more spread out but the NFL is a quarterback league now

I'm ok on the overalls. Only 9/32 starting QBs have a rating 90 or above -- I can live with that.

Like you though, I would've liked to have seen some key ratings simply b/c too much emphasis is placed on the overall. And they're really missing an opportunity to blow out the consistency system. That was supposed to be a big deal last year. If it's still in the game (and it is), why aren't these being touted as another way to differentiate players? I could live with Vick's 89 overall if it's offset with a low consistency, but they're not placing enough emphasis on that.

Eli and Stafford got some respect, Eli should get more, and Brees should be 99, Rogers 98.

# 17 A_New_Classic @ 07/30/12 04:20 PM
I think they're both too high to be honest, but Eli threw for 1,000 more yards and 8 more TDs last year than Ben and went on to win the SB. So THIS year going into 13 I don't see any reason why they should be rated the same.

Wondering how they managed to spell "Jay Cutler" as "M-A-T-T-H-E-W S-T-A-F-F-O-R-D"? I mean, Stafford's good, but Cutler's better, especially if you watched the Bears/Lions game from last season in Soldier Field. I feel like the only reason Cutler isn't on this list is as No. 8 is because he was injured during the second half.

But this year, with being reunited with his old QB coach and Brandon Marshall, I think EA Sports might be raising his rating...
