NBA 2K14 Features Crew Mode - 3-on-3 or 5-on-5

The achievement list teased the announcement earlier, but 2K Sports has now confirmed NBA 2K14 will feature Crew Mode. As Shade8780 points out, it looks like it could be current-gen only, at the very least we won't know about its status on next-gen just yet.

i think this blacktop/indoor thing is ridiculous, how hard is it to make it an empty, plain arena, opposed to outdoors with tons of trees, shading from the trees, and sunlight??

Yea, I hope they're paying some guys time and a half right now just to work hard enough to make an arena happen for crews. Hell put it in a wnba arena for all I care. As long as we have the arena and crowd we're set.

Well, they can redirect what they have to s800, f800, dornas800 (Default Player Create-a-Court, stadium, floor, and ads ) oppose to s735, f735, dornas735 (Blacktop, stadium, floor, and ads)

But it depends how they code it. Cause I recall that if it WAS blacktop, you wouldn't see 2K13 courts. I'll assume Blacktop is for 3v3. (as for new courts....

5v5 looks like a stadium, because I haven't seen gameplay from 2K13 Blacktop/NBA 2K Online where 5v5 with NBA Rules didn't take place in arenas. (Except 2K11 Pickup)

I like the floating stadium one, would be cool if that was it.. And do you play 2k online?

Honestly thats the biggest question for alot of us.

I still havent heard anything about that either, but i guess we can only hope its not an abbreviated game experience .

I have about the same level of hype I've had for the last month. Just haven't heard enough info on it yet. If they come out within the next couple weeks with some video of crews and some concrete facts and info about it then I will start getting hype... assuming that certain areas of it are implemented how most of us are hoping for.

Well this is very disappointing. Servers will likely be awful in 5v5.

WOW. That is complete trash. Well boys, it looks like we've been had once again by 2K. Crews in 2k14 does not equal the crew we all loved and wanted back. Count me out for current gen 2k. If next gen is the same way I might just check out what NBA Live has to offer us.

The problem I have with that is, I have 2 other friends & we were making players of pg,sf,C to run 5v5 fullcourt, not half smh

It's just complete arrogance on the part of 2K. How can they say they've brought back "The most requested game mode" and then completely change and alter the very mode and setup of the mode that we've been begging for for over 2 years? They think they know what the fans want while completely disregarding us. Crew was the most requested mode based on what it was in 2k11, NOT based on how it appears to be setup for 2k14.
