Good job Steve. Side by side you can see just how much a difference there is.

The lighting makes a huge difference in sports games. But geez the current gen Russell Wilson is so far off they couldnt do no wrong on next gen.

The two Chris Johnson pictures look exactly the same.

I think Payton may be crapping in someones helmet in that picture.

Will we finally hear an end of the "49ers colors are wrong" now?

Can we just all agree Madden looks great in still images. Doesn't matter if it is this gen or next. The bottom line is Madden is great at displaying a static close up. Where it falters is in the movement department. Choppy animations, sliding, warping, odd transitions between animations, and just funky movement across the board.

Until Madden moves completely away from animations and moves to the route similar to backbreaker where every action is based on a physic engine then we will continue to have these issues. For all the flaws BB had, if you would of thrown a better run look and more realistic action on contact of running into your own lineman. The contact itself looked very good and more smooth when compared to how madden is currently doing it.

I'm very pleased with Madden 25 for this generation and first madden I think since 10 that I've played as much as I have. The biggest eye sore for me is the terrible movement, it does not look natural and when 99% of the sport is spent running around, you want that portion to look flawless.

The players still have the cartoon look. I don't see that much of a big difference IMO... Why are mouth pieces still missing?

I disagree. The skin tone is much better on current gen then that next generation picture.

You know the one on the left is next gen right. That one looks much closer to his actual skin tone.

I can clearly see the difference. I'm glad they finally got Wilson's skin color right, as he is not a dark dude at all like they have him in current Gen. He is about the same, if not a tad bit lighter than DeSean Jackson

The lighting, helmets, skin tone and overall color look improved in my eyes. Next-gen is really going to be about details that you can see when you zoom in (at least initially). FIFA, Madden NFL and NBA 2k have all shown this. The game looks slightly better from a player perspective, but looks great when you zoom in.

Take the new NBA 2k14 trailer for example. Looks good when they show a far away shot of KD's jumper, looks amazing when you zoom in to Hardens face.

Also, important to note that capture devices do not do any game justice visually.

Some of E3's games were running on high end PC's. Madden might have been one of them.
