IGN will be hosting a livestream of MLB 14 The Show (PS4 version) on Monday, April 14th at 2:00 PM EST.

Hunter Pence of the San Francisco Giants and Yasiel Puig of the Los Angeles Dodgers will battle it out, while Sony San Diego designer, Ramone Russell talks about the game and answers questions.

Looks like we'll get a real good luck at the (near) finished product. I'm just hoping they broadcast all 9 innings without skipping through stuff.

I've gotta say I'm happy how they've really let the info flow after the PS3 release. Maybe it's because I've never played The Show before (hence not been in these forums much til I got a PS4) but SCEA seems very confident (for good reason) in their game and very in touch with the community. Good stuff.

You have to have a ton of confidence in SCEA to deliver this year. They've already shown more PS4 pre-release footage then NBA2k and Madden did combined. That means that are confident in their product.

I can't wait to see it. Like someone else already said hopefully they show the full 9 innings and it's available to watch in 1080. So 2 p.m. for the east coast?

I can't stand Puig! the dude has talent but his attitude sucks. My favorite moment of him, is during the playoff against the cards when he hit the ball deep to right field and started celebrating like he hit a homerun and came up short.

Guessing at this stage that this must be a fairly late build of the game so if they do show a straight feed of the PS4 we should get a good sense of how it performs. Definitely the most important aspect of the game for me, if it isn't a smooth 60 fps at all times it will be a major let down.

that looks nothing like Hunter Pence. they really dropped the ball on his model. looks more like Jeff Keppinger than Pence.

He gets the comparison due to his off-field behavior. On the field he makes mistakes, but also performs, similar to Jackson. I do think in general Puig was a terrible choice to use for this as by attaching the player to a event like this, you are attaching the brand to him.

I hate to be a Debi downer but that's exactly how their game will be played.
