eSports Coming to NBA 2K16 2K Pro-AM Early 2016, Huge Cash Prize & Trip to NBA Finals

eSports is officially coming to NBA 2K16 in early 2016. Get your friends together and start practicing in 2K Pro-Am for a shot at a huge cash prize and a trip to the 2016 NBA Finals.

More news on this announcement is coming later today, in the 2K livestream at 7:00 PM ET.

The way the servers of 2k works no way this can be succesfull.
For the near future i don't see it sucessfull but for the long term if servers are located a lot of the places in the world then maybe why not..

I like the idea, but 2k isn't a game of skill. It a game of chance and random moments. If people give cod a hard time , Idk how 2k gets a pass

Wow! So many negative comments. This is actually good news! 2K Sports will more than likely have rules and guidelines like they did when they USED to run tournaments for the PS2 and original X-Box eras.

Damn shame I live in a state where you can't win prizes in "skilled" tournaments though.

My hope is that seeing the elite cheesers pulling out all the stops will help the development team tighten some things up for 2K17.

My record on Pro Am is 61 and 25....I swear to you I've lost 2 games.

The other 23 losses are people lagging out and the team just backed out because it's no fun not having our guys with us.

So that means about a quarter of our games are dropped. That's not a good thing if you're trying to compete for something. Our rank was in the top 500 down to 2000 just for "losing" a game we left after 2 guys dropped.

I like the direction they're going in, but the connection won't allow it to be fair. And having these guys who exploited and bought that 99 overall is a contradiction to competitive gameplay where it needs to be skill not pocket size.
Take VC out of online competition first, then I can really get behind this.
