Did anyone think Kobe was not going to re-up with the Lake Show?
Can they repeat? Right now, it's Minus Trevor Ariza, Minus Lamar Odom.
If Mitch Kupchak cannot re-sign the versatile Forward, who will replace
Lamar? Like Ariza, Odom represents a valuable cog. Like a Jordan-led
Chicago Bulls, the current Lakers would do well to keep Odom on-board.
Artest is a good acquisition, but without Odom, the Lakers are at a deficit.
My 2009 Prediction: Lakers will not repeat until they shore up Lamar Odom's contract situation.
