I know you're a manage mode guy, so I thought I'd ask you this. I decided to try my hand at actually playing some season games. I put the settings on dynamic mode to see how quickly I would either advance or suck. Anyways, as I'm playing, I notice a between-innings cut scene "This Day in Baseball History" that I hadn't seen before. Do you know if this is something that never shows up during manage mode games?

Yes....absolutely.
Work(overtime actually...not "regular" work) has just kept me back and forth with so little off time....that I can't start a project.
I will likely do a historical set for '15....and both the O.S.F.M. and historical projects here on out for new versions.
I'm trying to convince the dev team to add in custom league setup...AND importing players mid franchise...which would take historical sets to new levels.

Hi, I am a software engineer from Cleveland Ohio who works from home. As a result I spend a ton of time perfecting rosters for MLB The Show (Mostly personal used) However, I would love to lend a hand in ANY capacity to MLB 15 rosters. I have plenty of time to do so, seeing as I do this anyways. I can handle any task given, and am a perfectionist with player likeness, deliveries, stances, etc. While I am a Indians fan, I watch as many games a day as possible and watch minor league film for roster purposes. I set my options to manual so that I would have control over all the teams and roster changes but the CPU still changes my rosters, so what am I doing wrong?

Came across this tonight and it reminded me of the OSFM rosters and all you guys do:

After completing a fantasy draft in Franchise Mode, when the regular season begins, EVERY team other than mine carries 14-15 pitchers. This leaves every team 2-3 bench players. So if a game goes into extra innings, the opposing team runs out of the bench players very fast. There are no RHP/LHP matchups in lineups.

I've tried this with multiple rosters. It only occurs after a fantasy draft. Regular (non-fantasy) franchise mode is unaffected & rosters make sense there. Franchise Mode fantasy draft is the only place where this issue takes place, and unfortunately for me, this is the mode I play in the majority of the time. This unrealistic roster feature hasn't been an issue in any of previous years games (been playing every year since 2008). Thanks for your help!

That's ok, you probably are knee deep or deeper in your roster project, I suppose. I have always used my hodge-podge mix that I also use the few times I play the other way. I have no complaints, just curious what you used, since that is your mode of choice I understand. Thanks anyway

I really appreciate all your roster work on the show and I have a question.
What I want to do is take the latest mlb rosters, the ones after the september call ups for actual mlb and start a franchise. Then I want to sim the 2012 season and start in spring training 2013. But I would like to keep all the teams intact as much as possible. When I tried this I found that by the time I got to the 2013 season everything was changed, my team only had a hanful of players left. Can you point me in the right direction on team control etc and settings? Also, what kind of schedule does the game generate for the next year in a franchise?

Hi, I'm knew to the forum but have been playing the show since the beginning of this year. I have noticed you are close to the developers and have a few question to ask if you don't mind. First, I know there is a pitch edit forum started by Russel_05 who is a developer of the show. If I were to post several pitch corrections on the forum, would he still make the changes on the next live roster even though that thread was started months ago? Second, how often does SCEA update the ratings for players? Third, do you know how they give ratings to rookies fresh up from the minors? Thank you for your time.

Things are good. Just busy with school and coaching the high school team. It's my busiest time of the year. When the clock strikes June I'll be able to catch my breathe a little bit. Hope all is well.

Phillies signed Andres Blanco yesterday after the Nats released him, so, umm, maybe you can put him in your OSFM roster, if you hadn't already. (PS: He's already in the game, you just need to move him from the Nats to the Phils.) Thanks!

Hey Knight, sorry to bug ya again - so it turns out it was Greatnorthern47 who put my Jays roster back up with tweeks he made - looks real good. Noticed a couple changes I would make on my end after seeing some of these guys play this past weekend - add C Yan Gomes - I have a half decent version I did if Greatnorthern wants to try and tweek it, Gose equipment change to long pants and shin guard and a tweek to the back of the hair colour for Kevin Aherens - he is blonde and bulky long hair - I found if you lengthen and pull out the bottom head size you can get that effect

Ya I agree completely with you on that one, too many guys would latch on and steal the product. 4 downloads happened in the time I had it in the vault and I sent the guy a "kind" email asking him to remove it fromt he vault
