2K sports announces Michael Jordan as it's 2K11 Cover Athlete

EA Sports announces that NBA Live is now NBA Elite 11 and then boasts how it is going to change the way basketball is played in videogames among other things.

2K10 was a buggy game that wasn't exactly 2K's best work.

Live 10 was a huge step in the right direction.

Mike Wang left EA and returned to 2K.

EA Hires hockey guy who helped turn EA's NHL game into one of the best playing sports games period.

With MJ on the cover, 2Ksports needs to deliver the greatest NBA game of all-time. Otherwise the cover athlete is a waste.

EA Sports needs to finally live up to the hype with their NBA game...or fade to black.

Both Teams are under immense scrutiny and pressure. At E3, Let the game begin.....and the game begins in the 4th quarter.

Let's hope that both games are worthy of greatness and that the Gamers are the true winners. Time will tell.

*Madden 11 is also Under Pressure, there is just no competition to light a fire under them. Don't fret, because if M11 turns out to be M10 2.0, EA will feel it financially

It will be a great season for gamers. I can't wait to see how 2k11 changes from the last 2 bug fest. I can't wait to see Elite 11 and see if the animations and gameplay can find feel like basketball in motion.

As far as Madden, I just can't wait to hear the new commentary and see the presentation.

Looked at the pics of Elite 11 and noticeably gone is the shiny, over-saturated look. Glad about that. Can't wait to see more.

As for 2K11, while I look forward to seeing what they do with it, unless they come up with a real-time physics engine of their own, Elite 11 has me on baited breath, right about now.

I just read the NBA Elite 11 article and I must say that it sounds like they are definitely going to bring their A+ game this year! Look forward to the demo.
