Men Lie, Women Lie, Sports Media lies.....NUMBERS don't

There are many people who keep on saying that Peyton Manning is the greatest QB of all time....WRONG. He may be the greatest Regular Season QB of all time, but we play the game to win Super Bowls.

My Problem with Nintendo

Over the last few weeks, I have been reading about how Nintendo does not feel that consumers (gamers) DON'T want an HD Wii. Reggie Fils Aime keeps saying that it is something that is not needed. I feel that gamers disagree....and so do Devs. One would think that Nintendo learned from their Gamecube failures...and that they would want to actually have more mature games on the Wii, which is not a bad system, it is just a home for Shovelware.

How Madden 11 can achieve Greatness.

I am just going to list ways in which I feel Madden 11 can achieve greatness:

*No More Perfect Defenses: We should not feel like we are playing against Psychics who run the pattern better the WRs....Super Jumping Skills....Super Recovery speed...and unrealistic physical mechanics that defy physics.

*Stop the Suction Tackling/Blocking: This makes the game feel very scripted....your players get sucked into tackles when they should be breaking away, D-Linemen are magically ... Read More

The time has come, for better or worse, that we must all get behind EA Sports. With the decline of 2Ksports and no other competitors in earshot, EA has a stranglehold on the market for sports games. 2Ksports and SCEA make NBA and Baseball games currently, but 2K is dropping titles every year and now only are producing NBA 2K and MLB 2K (unfortunately) and it seems as if those who are in charge @ 2K are either not business savy or have given up on trying to please the customers in their sports categories. ... NBA Live 10 or NBA 2K10: I am stuck!

I have been an avid fan of both of these games for seemingly an eternity! I cannot decide which one to buy this year! I like the direction both are heading and actually thought NBA Live 09 was better on the court than 2K last year. What are your thoughts on the upcoming game?

Madden 10: the Truth (and NCAA 10: Some Truth)

To often we just have accepted what has been offered to us. While I applaud the positives in both games, gamers need to stop blindly calling a product "the saving grace" when in fact it is behind. Behold the issues:

Madden 10:Change of Heart Edition

Originally I championed MAdden 10....but after spending almose two and a half weeks with the game...I am having a change of heart....I will write a new review highlighting the bugs and of course Challenging my theory that this game is better than NFL 2K5...because overall it is not.

I do believe that Madden 10 will be a very good game. However, I can only laugh at the excuses I have read on the board for what can and cannot be added to a game in a year. Madden 10 vs. NFL 2K5 Pre-Release

As of right now I have to congratulate Ian and the boyz on what seems to be a great game. However, as far as them passing NFL 2K5, I will have to play the finished product because I do not have enough evidence from the demos and videos. Here are the areas that I do believe M10 has beaten 2K5 at finally:
