I just don't understand...

How is it that in this day and age of technology, we are still stuck in such a rut when it comes down to sports video games. Now I am sure that somewhere amongst the walls at 2K studios, there is a football game floating around that has not been released. You can't tell me that as talented as this programmers are, they are not enjoying a great game of football, minus the distractions of NFL names and logos.
In todays climate, I can't honestly say that I have a specific sports star that makes me feel that I refuse to play a game because they are not in it. Back in the day, we had NBA games in which Jordan could not represented in the game due to contractual obligations, but we still enjoyed it. I forget which NBA game it was, but the Shooting Guard for the bulls was number 0 and he was also Chinese, but you knew the deal though. Why does 2K feel that it cannot make a football game without having NFL representation? Make a game with a team from one of each of the 50 states. Give them a personality without stepping over the boundaries. With customization options, some crew of gamers will have all teams within a week. Start your own team and build a stadium. For every game you win, you garner new fans, If you make highlight plays like NBA 2k17, you earn new fans. The more fans you earn, the more people will begin coming to your games. Start a big enough franchise, you can raise prices and start making more money. Start losing and playing bad, you lose fans. Make the stadiums dynamic in the approach. You might start off with a half empty stadium and the more you grow, the more you will see it increase. Eventually you may have to build a new, bigger stadium. there is so much potential. I just know that many people, like myself, long for a new experience on the gridiron. Please, give it to me!!
