What's really exiting is they took away the guy that was the lead man at EA for MVP Baseball 2005 (which I loved) to redo 2Ks baseball game. From what I've seen he earned his paycheck.

The license runs until 2012.

Although 2k7 and MLB 07 are looking good, I still hate exclusive licensing deals. But hey, that's business.

there is no doubt in my mind how incredible this game is going to look. I mean, NFL2K5 looked outstanding on the PS2/XBOX.

I'm not sure that's the case. If 2K waited to see whether or not Blitz was successful on next-gen gaming, they'd be in trouble. They have been committed to this game for a while, but have waited for the right time for it to be released. I'd say the lack of Madden truly wowing people is the reason 2K said, "OK, it's time to put this out now."

Really? I suppose I could be wrong - that happened once before, years ago, so I know it's possible.

I've never been wrong before. If it looks like I could be, I just change my mind.

Nah, I know the game could flop, and I know 2K looked at everything in order for them to justify this game. I just think that they would be laughed at if Madden was an incredible football game to play.
