I am not paying $60 for APF!

I thought that I read that APF will be $60. I want this game to be good, but I don't think that it will be worth $60 without the NFL License. I think that they should have done what they did with some of there other 2K games. Have the price be half. Then they could introduce this game to the market as a bargain and get the uninformed consumer to buy it, and most hardcore would get it too out of curiosity.

On another note, you think the NFL = $60 price point?? So far, I've seen and heard Madden wasn't worth a dime BOTH YEARS because of how sloppy it played, yet you want to get this innovative game to reduce its value because of one little license? Can I honestly ask if anyone thinks this is logical seeing that they are bringing the most legends into this game also? The equation doesn't equal up. The "hardcore" want to get the game to play well and could care less about a dam license. Hell, NFL was the one that jumped at the idea of having a single developer become the primary maker in the video game world. Any other remark about "APF not being worth $60" needs to get some type of automatic banning until a month after the release of the game. The logic of some are just outright assinine.......

in reality this 2K8 APF game will cost me in excess of $2,500.... not including the cost of the game.... I didn't think about next gen (PS3) until the 2K announcement... I didn't think about a new HDTV 1080P until the 2K announcement... I believe (much to the chagrin of the doubters) that 2K heard the cry of the unknown many that don't/won't play madden for a myriad of reasons... least of which has to do with the sorry attempts at football... 60bucks means nothing if I can get back 50% the excitement I had back in 2004 when I put that (NFL 2K5) disc in my PS2....

Like Totalownership said.... I really don't have time to play all the game I'd like... I sure wasn't going next gen with the offerings publishers had out now... but 2K and Football in any form is worth the risk of sending the money I just did....
