How many players on a roster ??

Has anyone heard the official word on how many players this game will have on each roster ??

The reason I ask is because of some recent review I read about putting a team together. This particular article stated that you choose 11 legends and then fill out the roster with 11 generic players!!! That's 22 players in my world. Damn, I hope that's not the case and that they simply were referring to starting players. My gut feel is that I just misinterpreted that statement, but the way it was written sure makes you raise an eyebrow. I will be extremely pissed if this is correct

It's not a very realistic or accurate game of football without subs for fatigued amd injured players.

Can anyone confirm this either way ??
