Did you guys read about choops2k8 and the roster plans!!!

I'm sorry if this has been posted but this idea that we no longer need the transfer kits and will be able to upload the real rosters in Choops2k8 is awesome!

To me that means that in AFP 2k9 we should be able to upload the real NFL rosters and possibly logos and uniforms!

Unless I am reading into this wrong APF 2k9 could allow us a back door way to play with the real NFL players! Am I correct?

Considering how they went out of their way this year to make sure we couldn't recreate the NFL (customization limited to the user team, no customization of generics, only 20 CAP slots, obligation to use one of the team names from the database instead of being able to type what we want, no custom logos, etc.) I think we'll be lucky to get enough customization options to create the NFL on our own console and I sincerely doubt they'll create a system that allows mass distribution of such customized rosters.

That's not to say we couldn't do it the old fashioned way with transfer kits/USB drives if the customization options are there.

I know most don't care.. but to me this would be putting the cart before the horse... IMO, I'd want 2K9 to have 32 teams 1st, then go to the open roster D/L's.... but that just me....
