Can you give a QB a HB ability (and have it work?)

Once a QB is out of the pocket, scrambling, he essentially is a HB, so I don't see why a QB shouldn't be allowed access to HB SA's. By doing this, I could essentially make a wildcat HB with modified crappy QB stats.

Has anyone attempted giving QB's any HB abilities?

i was thinking about that, for i can make a real VICK and sub him at QB

Well, I tried adding the Steel Arm ability to a QB and it does show up in the "edit players" column. Of course, the ability doesn't show up in his player profile. My game didn't crash.

So I guess the ability can be added, but now the real question: Does the added ability actually work? Hard to tell.

i had fast qbs in the game and to get the speed abilities to work on a qb you have to edit their ratings aswell and that would be the only way to have finesse and power abilities take effect
