EA's Thoughts On Backbreaker?

Based on the recent Backbreaker videos, what do you guys think EA is thinking to themselves when they see Backbreaker's physics in action?

EA is thinking we are in a win/win situation. If the game comes out and bombs, doesnt hurt us. If it does well, then we purchase them and put it into our games without having to put time and money into R and D of tech that may have not panned out.

Re: EA's Thoughts On Backbreaker?

I don't think EA thinks much of it right now(if anything at all), simply because it hasn't been released...
If Backbreaker is good, and somehow manages to become a hit...I imagine EA would *for once* try to step up their game.
Although a more likely situation, BB could be good, but end up being one of those niche games and not have much of an impact sales-wise. In this case, I don't know that EA would feel too threatened.

And well if BB just sucks...yeah...EA won't bat an eye at it.
Of course, this is just my thoughts on it. Absolutely none of this is fact. Obviously.

I personally don't think EA is at all scared about BB. They have all the advantages, and really will likely never be threatened as king of football games as long as they have the NFL license.

Keep EA out of here, Backbreaker out of EA. Discussions never end well.

Game hasn't even come out yet.
