(Tulowitzki singles down the line for 2 RBI)
Milwaukee,WI - The Brewers and the Rockies kicked off the MLB season on Monday night. It wasn't the start that Colorado hoped for, but it was the one they deserved after pitching the way
Tyler Matzek did.
Matzek couldn't find his spots early, and he was chased after 3.2 innings. The bullpen was not much better after
Christian Fredrich gave up 4 earned runs in 2.1 innings of work.
Adam Ottavio was good however going 2 innings and not giving up any hits.
Troy Tulowitzki was the only player to drive in an RBI for Colorado. He did this on a bases clearing double down the left field line.
Adam Lind went 4-5 on the day leading the Brewers, and he also drove in an RBI.
Scooter Gennett also did a nice job going 2-4, with a walk.
Kyle Lohse had nothing to worry about after the 4th inning as his team was up 8-2. This didn't affect him however as he went 8 strong innings, and only allowed 5 hits.
