“With a dismal season approaching for these teams lets see the teams who will barely make an impact this season” Said the commentator for NBA Fantasy show. I’m Derek Favours and a rookie GM looking for his big break. I worked with many GM’s and understand the world of Basketball. I’m looking for challenge, something which entices me. “The Bucks, Kings, Nets are all looking at this season to just try and manage a way to win games”. Kings are definitely the worse from this bunch but they are all evenly matched. I looked at this and decided which team I wanted to manage and decided to go with the Kings. I called Geoff Petire the owner of the Kings and told him my plan. He was a great guy but his major concern was that I was a Rookie GM. I made a bold move and told him I can bring back the Glory days to the team. I said we will bring back the kingdom back to its rightful owners the Kings . After that Statement I was surprisingly hired as the Kings new GM

My first look at the roster, WOW I had some major work to do. This was the final list.

Udrith- 64|Starter|Your Replaceable if an upgrade comes along

Martin- 77|Starter | I want you to be the star of this team

Nocioni-71 |Starter | You’re Replaceable if an upgrade comes along

Thompson- 66 | Starter | You’re Replaceable if an upgrade comes along

Hawes- 64|Starter | You’re Replaceable if an upgrade comes along

Evans- 71 |6th Man |You will have plenty opportunities to prove yourself

Garcia- 68 |Role Player |We need some energy and depth off the bench

May- 57 |Role Player |Your minutes will be limited but you will get a chance

Rodriguez- 62|Role Player | Your minutes will be limited but you will get a chance

Greene- 55|Prospect |You will have a solid career but your not ready yet

Casspi- 51| Prospect |We Believe in you, but you need more time to develop

Thomas- 59|Bench Warmer |You will only see playing time if we get hit by injuries

Some Changes are definitely needed.

First Press Conference

The first press conference is always the hardest. I was always shy around the camera so I tried to avoid the question as much as possible. I sat down and the questions started to flow.

Why the Kings?

The Kings are a great organization with great young talent they just need a few item that will get them better. I believe that me and my staff can do great with the team we have, however we just need some more pieces that will make this team better.

Any big changes?

As of right now I will try to avoid it, but it depends how well we are doing in the early part of the season. I am not afraid to mix it up bring a player to get the guys attention. Once again right now no big changes but small changes are always available.

What are your predictions this season, for your team?

We are in the West which is a very hard conference to win. I think the Kings are in the rebuilding years however this doesn’t excuse us. We still need to go out and try to win games. This season our main objective is to win games nothing else is on our minds.
