Re: The coaching career of Matt Lyon. (CH2k8)

Hanover, NH- After going 9-18 with a 4-10 conference record, Terry Dunn is out at head coach of the Dartmouth Big Green basketball team. Dunn was a combined 25-56 in his 3 years as head coach. Dartmouth happened to stumble on a guy by the name of Matt Lyon. Who is Matt Lyon? After playing varsity basketball all four years at Cary High School, he became the assistant head coach and after one season as assistant he became head coach. He was the head coach for five years. He had a record of 123-29 with 4 Tri-9 conference titles, and a state championship. There is still no word however on his assistants this season.

He also said this, "If i had a choice to coach anywhere, an Ivy League school has to be it. A solid athletic program and the top education a kid can get. Can't be better than that!"
