Yes. I am still incensed over that, LOL.

I was tied with Columbia for the Ivy League lead at 11-3 in conference play at the season's end. I won both head-to-head meetings versus Columbia. However, Columbia had a better record than I did (they had won 20 games while I won 18, I believe).

In real life, we would have had a one-game playoff to determine the Ivy League Title (as happened in real life last season), but instead the game gives the title to Columbia, presumably due to them having a better overall record.

Not to worry, though, because I never failed to win an Ivy League Title for the rest of my time there.

Dang well I hope my poor overall record doesn't come back to hurt me in conference play

COLEMAN GETS 24 IN WIN OVER BROWN

12-9-11 - Providence, RI: Today's game featured two teams who are not just in the same state, but the same city. This cross-town battle did not disappoint as Providence escaped with a 79-70 win over Brown.

"It was another game where we hung with our opponent for most of the game but could not pull off the upset" said Rogers, "We knew coming into the game that they were a defensive minded team, but it was their offense that we struggled with."

Providence hit a season-high 56% of their shots and 44% of their 3 pointers.

"It's tough when you exploit one weakness of a team and they come back with something else to hit you in the mouth with" said Halpern, "Personally, I was able to score at a high percentage but as a team we struggled on the defensive end."

Not only did Providence score at a high rate, but they held Brown to 3 free throws. Brown, however, did shoot 67 shots but only hit 30.

"Our biggest struggle was that we settled for too many shots. You can't shoot 28 threes and expect to win a game to a good defensive team like Providence" said Rogers.

Yea it's always tough when you lose but it is encouraging to be able to keep up with the good teams like Xavier.

Re: What can Brown do for you? (CH2k8)

EARLY SIGNING PERIOD ENDS

12-10-11 - Providence, RI: It is the end of the early signing period and Colby Rogers has yet to hand out his lone scholarship.

Assistant coach, Leemire Hipsher (who I hired mainly for his name), was able to comment about recruiting before the Providence game, "We are looking at a multitude of players right now and we are not prepared at the moment to handing out our only scholarship."

Here is how the recruiting is shaping up in the Ivy League so far.

3Yale001 (JC)001

In just the early signing period, Penn was able to scoop up 4 recruits including 6'2 guard, Dominic Pasco (#154 3*). Dartmouth got power forward Latece Krymski (#256 3*) and Yale signed junior college freshman, Richie Worthington, a 6'1 3* guard. Brown and Princeton were the only 2 teams in the Ivy League not to sign anyone.

On a national level the ACC had 5 5* recruits sign, the Big East had 4 5* sign, and the Pac-10 had 3 5* sign. Ohio St. was the only team to sign a 5* Juco (Fr).

Here is the scoop for the top recruits in the nation and where they are headed.
